At One Degree, we understand how important it is for you to have all the necessary information about potential job opportunities that match your skills and experience.
Here’s how we ensure that you are well-prepared to make informed decisions when receiving a contact request from a interested Company about a potential job opportunity.
Request to connect
When an employer finds your profile to be a match for their needs, they will send you a message request to connect - see an example of this form below.
Opportunity detail
As part of the request to connect, employers will be required to provide some additional detail about the potential opportunity, this include:
- More information about the opportunity itself.
- Whether the opportunity will be based on-site, hybrid or remote.
- The budget for the opportunity either as annual gross salary or hourly rate.
- If this is a permanent or contract opportunity.
- When would they be looking for the role to ideally start.
Review and decide
Once completed, the employer will hit send and a copy of the above form will appear in your One Degree inbox, along with a copy sent to you via email to the address used to sign up your profile. If you're happy with the opportunity outline and would like to explore more or connect with the employer, simply select the 'I'm interested' button and pop a message through to the company via the in-platform chat.
